Michael has been with Salon A for over 16 years. He specializes in coloring, custom blending, highlights, lowlights, and color corrections using L’Oreal Professionel Coloring and Scruples Blazing highlighting system. Michael is also certified in the Brazilian Blowout smoothing treatment, an amazing treatment that smoothes and defrizzes hair, leaving it silky and shiny.
Michael mastered his haircutting skills through extended training at Paul Mitchell, Toni & Guy, Rusk, and ICON academies. His devotion to his clients over the years has allowed him to develop a special bond with each and everyone. Michael has been such a devoted and outstanding stylist and team player that he has earned the position of “lead stylist”.
During Michael’ down time, his passion for fitness has led him to the love of triathlons, and he has participated in them for the last 8 years. He finished his first Ironman Race in 2009 in Tempe, Arizona. Michael has also raced in the Disneyland half marathon for the last 4 years.

Jack began his career in the fashion industry. His seven years in the business culminated in his appointment as a buyer for the legendary exclusive fashion store, Frost Bros. Today, with over two decades as a hair stylist, Jack specializes in multi-dimensional color and highlighting. He also excels at color corrections and styling make-overs. He ranks as a color specialist with Goldwell, the top-rated line of color products that are available exclusively to hair stylist professionals. Jack is also among a group of stylists who create hair designs for the “royalty” during the city’s annual Fiesta Week celebration.
Jack learned and perfected his skills beginning with his acceptance at the locally renowned Mims Classic Beauty College. He has studied with some of the most respected professionals in the beauty industry, including Frédéric Fekkai, Toni & Guy, John Paul Mitchell, John Sahag, Jean Braa and Vivienne McKinder.
To further his artistic techniques in color, cutting and styling and to discover new products, he travels regularly to fashion centers in Europe and major U.S. cities such as New York, New Orleans, Las Vegas, Dallas and Austin. He also attends international beauty shows. Most recently, the statewide fashion publication, Brilliant Magazine, featured Jack’s styling on its cover. He was also chosen as hair stylist for a Chanel Fashion Show at San Antonio’s Saks Fifth Avenue.
